So I never really posted my thoughts on Northern California since I moved up here. I’ve talked about how I’m always going back to Los Angeles and how I miss it and what not. First off, the weather is a lot nicer here. The air is also a lot cleaner than Southern California. And well, these last few weeks, I’ve come to realize that I’m really happy here. Sure I miss my friends and family down there, but I have friends and family up here too. At first it was just our family that lived 45 minutes away from here.. but since moving here I’ve made a few close friends.
I’m really happy I got to meet Nicolah. She’s become one of my bestest friends. I love hanging out with her. I also met some friends through school. We’ve hung out outside of school and we all really get along. They are a funny and good group of people. I’ve finally accepted the move here.. and even though I’ve always wanted to move, I didn’t realize how much I’d miss my friends and family down there. But I’m happy here now.. thanks to those who made the move a happy one.
Well, on to another note.. my family from Los Angeles is coming up for Thanksgiving. Ironic, right? Now THEY are coming up here. Ha. Anyway, as I’m typing this they are on their way up. It takes around 6 hours without traffic and they told me there’s quite a bit and it’s also raining so they probably won’t be here until after midnight. I’m happy to see them.
AND GEEZ ARE WE HAVING A FEAST TOMORROW. Our menu includes: turkey (of course), stuffing (regular & oyster), creamed corn, candied yams, green bean casserole, crescent roles, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and little Filipino desserts. We also got TONS of wine and cider. I’m excited. I love Thanksgiving.
Well, I don’t know what else to say. I probably won’t update until after my family leaves. So enjoy your Thanksgiving everyone. Eat a lot and sleep well after all the tryptophan.

Don’t you just love it in NorCal, there are some times where I want tomove to SoCal just because I need space from my family, but I love it so much here. :)) Those 6 hours trips are a pain, haha, luckily I never was the one driving.
Happy thanksgiving.
Aw you’re so sweet honey! You’re one of my bestest friends too. I don’t know what I would do without you. Actually I do know, I would be sad & depressed and I would probably never leave the house, haha. You’re my partner in crime.
Making new friends are always a good thing. Sorry you miss ur family. But hey, at least you know people. Imagine not having ANYONE. haha. Good luck to you in your new area. Happy (belated) Thanksgiving. Your menu sounds delicious. Good luck to ya!
