I guess I should post about my vacation. I was so excited to see my best friend and go to Disneyland for three days, but it had to be my luck that I would get sick when I was there. I went to Disneyland one day and then got sick. My mom happened to be in town at the same time and she was at my uncle’s. I asked my best friend to take me there because then I could just sleep. I was so miserable and mad because the last thing I wanted was to get sick on my vacation.
When I got home on Sunday, the first thing I did was make a doctor’s appointment because at that point my ears were killing me. I went to the doctor’s Monday morning and it turned out I had a double ear infection. My doctor gave me antibiotics. I also called in sick to work that day.
I wish I could have enjoyed my vacation more but I was just happy to see my best friends and family.
Now I’ve been planning my mom and dad’s 20th anniversary party. They are renewing their vows and we’re having a party at my house. Family from down in Southern California will be coming up and it’s just going to be crazy until the day arrives. I’m making party favors, ordering rentals and food, and so many other things. I’ll be happy and relieved when the day finally arrives.
As for July 4th, I just stayed home and relaxed. This was the first Independence Day I was home in a long time. Usually I’m out, but it was nice to just be home with my family playing games on Wii.
What did you all do for July 4th?

That sucks! I hate getting sick when I’m on vacation. It totally defeats the purpose and you end up more tired than when you started. And ear infections are the worst. Glad that you had Happy Fourth.
I didn’t really do anything. Just ate with the family.
I’m sorry you got sick on your vacation honey. That sucks
I’m glad you got to see everyone though!
What a bummer that you got sick on your vacation!
I hope you feel better soon.
That’s so sweet though that your parents are going to renew their wedding vows! Sounds like a big party you’re planning as well – I hope it all turns out fantastically!
Your 4th of July sounds like fun too, sometimes the best holidays are like that…just enjoying the company of your family and friends. I didn’t actually do anything for 4th of July because I’m Australian…I think I probably spent the day playing computer games or something, lol.
I'm Christina. I'm 22 years old. I live in Northern California.
I'm going to school full time to get my AA in Early Childhood Development and my BS in Business Management.
I currently do not have a job. I love make up, texting, & music.

That must be so nice to live so close to Disneyland. I’ve only been there once, but it was amazing.
Congrats to your parents! Renewing vows sounds like such a good idea. My parents just had their 25th anniversary, but they went on vacation instead.
For July 4th, I bought my new domain hahaha.
